The days of placing your savings in the bank and living off the interest are, for most people, sadly long gone.


To a greater or lesser extent many of us have to take a degree of risk with our savings, pensions and investments in order to try and achieve reasonable returns.  The aim should be for returns to at least keep pace with inflation or ideally over the medium to long term provide growth in excess of inflation. We operate in a truly global marketplace with many external influences which can impact on investment returns.

There are a wide range of investment assets to consider for your portfolio and they are constantly changing. It would be an overstatement to say I am expert in all areas of investment but I do have a great deal of experience with matching clients requirements to effective and considered investment strategies.

I also hold a fund manager qualification which helps me to understand the complexity, risks and rewards involved in fund management and investing.
